Administrative Assistant

The role of the administrative assistant is to complete clerical and non-clinical tasks to support Resurgence Neuro Rehab.Include, but are not limited to:
● Performance of a variety of general office tasks to assist and relieve owners/clinicians with administrative support tasks.
● Adherence to HIPAA and proper customer service skills to manage, screen and refer phone calls
● Basic knowledge/overview of physical, occupational therapy and when to refer to clinician for questions
● Ability to navigate multiple online portals and software systems
● Friendly greeting all visitors upon entry to clinic
● Scheduling of patient/client appointments and calendar maintenance of clinicians
● Schedule and coordinate any meetings
● Collect, dispatch and distribute any mail
● Notifying providers of patient arrivals
● Maintenance of patient/client records for insurance and clinic compliance
● Verifying insurance/financial records and collecting patient charges while filing and expediting third-party claims
● Maintaining office inventory and equipment by anticipating supply needs and expediting supply orders
● Construct any clinic memos, emails, invoices and any print compliance documents
● Organization and upkeep of administrative files via paper and/or electronic
● Maintenance and upkeep of clinic as defined by Workspace Cleanliness Guidelines

Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team. General Requirements for All Positions

Mobility and Stamina

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during patient assessments and treatments.
  • Capability to move between different treatment areas and rooms throughout the day. 

Strength and Dexterity

  • Sufficient strength to assist patients in transfers, lifting, and positioning, which may involve lifting weights up to 50 pounds. 
  • Dexterity to manipulate small objects, tools, and equipment used in therapy sessions.

Range of Motion

  • Ability to perform physical activities that require the use of large muscle groups, including bending, twisting, reaching, and stooping. 
  • Adequate flexibility to perform manual therapy techniques and to demonstrate exercises to patients. 

Manual Skills

  • Fine motor skills to perform tasks such as manual muscle testing, palpation, and therapeutic massage. 
  • Hand-eye coordination to accurately perform tasks that require precision.

Balance and Coordination

  • Good balance and coordination to assist patients with mobility and balance exercises. 
  • Ability to maintain physical stability while supporting patients with various levels of mobility impairment.

Sensory Requirements

  • Visual acuity to observe patients’ movements, monitor their responses to treatment, and read medical records and charts. 
  • Hearing ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members, and to listen to patient concerns and needs. 

Communication

  • Strong verbal communication skills to provide clear instructions, explanations, and feedback to patients and their families.
  • Ability to document patient progress and treatment plans accurately and legibly. 

Environmental Adaptability

  • Tolerance to potential exposure to infectious diseases, body fluids, and other occupational hazards typically found in healthcare settings. 

Physical and Mental Endurance:
